LIVE FILM "FUKUYAMA MASAHARU LIVE FILM A Summer of Happiness @NIPPON BUDOKAN 2023" will be released on Blu-ray and DVD!
The live film "FUKUYAMA MASAHARU LIVE FILM A Summer of Happiness with Words @NIPPON BUDOKAN 2023," which was directed by Fukuyama himself for the first time and was screened for four weeks only in January this year, has finally been announced for release on Blu-ray and DVD.
This ultimate "live performance beyond live performance," which pursues Fukuyama's own ideas of "ideal live sound," "ideal live performance production, and visual world," will be released as a complete version that includes five songs that were not included in the theatrical release or Amazon Prime Video distribution. In addition to the main footage, the Blu-ray and DVD will also include audio content "A special conversation between Fukuyama and an engineer."
This work is a time-transcending story that can only be told in a movie, in which a young boy named Fukuyama, played by Hiiragi Yota, who dreams of becoming a musician, goes to see Fukuyama perform live in the present. The actual live performance was filmed in 360 degrees from all directions with over 40 cameras, making it a meticulous visual production that makes full use of the latest technology. The Blu-ray version also comes with the option to enjoy Dolby Atmos® sound, the same as in movie theaters.
The first limited edition and the BROS. edition come with a live recording CD (recording the entire performance) that will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the "ideal live sound."
Furthermore, the BROS. version only comes with a super ball with the Kotodama logo from the super ball scooping game that was hugely popular at the "Summer Festival" held at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Kitanomaru Park in conjunction with the performance, as well as gold tape with the name of the performance printed on it, which was previously a popular bonus, and this time comes in five different colors, all of which are included randomly in an original drawstring bag, making it a very packed package.
