【story】
Mikuri Moriyama (Yui Aragaki) and Hiramasa Tsuzaki (Gen Hoshino) are "partners" in the workplace known as home. Now that they both work, they've been able to divide up the household chores in a way that suits them both, and they've been living peaceful and happy lives.
At Mikuri's company, there was talk of female employees "waiting for their turn to give birth." Meanwhile, Mikuri's pregnancy is discovered. The two are finally going to get married officially, but there is a fuss over registering the marriage. Furthermore, Hiramitsu is confused by Mikuri's morning sickness and whines, "I'm the one who wants to cry." Before an important project, Hiramitsu decides to take childcare leave, but it is his old colleague Numata (Furuta Arata) and others who support him in this predicament.
Mikuri and Hiramasa aim to reconstruct their lives, such as dividing up household chores, but are thrown into a series of unfamiliar experiences, including childbirth and childcare. Meanwhile, Yuri-chan (Ishida Yuriko) is also facing a major turning point in her life.
Then, a certain incident tears Mikuri and Hiramitsu apart, and they begin to spend their days apart...
