[Synopsis]
After watching a movie, Yuki Onmura (Kaya Kiyohara), a first-year in the workforce, stares sadly at Hiromi Tokunaga (Hayato Sano), who continues to eat cold popcorn without saying a word. Yuki soon throws the empty popcorn box into the trash. For some reason, there are tears in her eyes... Yuki then rereads the diary of her life from when she met Hiromi...
--April two years ago. Yuki, now a third-year student, was walking through the campus at the start of the new semester, feeling somewhat unsatisfied as his university life passed the halfway point. He was overcome with a vague thought of how he could spend the remaining two years without regrets. Then, in front of Yuki, a male student appeared, engrossed in writing down mathematical formulas under a cherry tree. The two of them exchanged silent glances in the spring breeze. That was how Yuki and Hiromi first met. But the next moment, Hiromi left his backpack behind and quickly walked away. Yuki, who was left behind, began searching for the owner of the backpack, whose name she did not even know, together with her classmates Shiraishi Mahiru (Yoshikawa Ai) and Hasegawa Airi (Mikami Ai).
Meanwhile, Hiromi forgets that her wallet is in her backpack and ends up in line at the cafeteria, unable to pay, but is saved by Toranosuke Wada (Ayumu Mochizuki), whom she meets for the first time. Toranosuke learns of Hiromi's situation and offers to look for her backpack for her, as she has class soon...
