[Synopsis]
The husband is a politician and the wife is an actress.
Now in their fifth year of marriage, the Tokairin couple was facing a crisis in their marriage.
Tokairin Taishi (Matsuzaka Tori), a rookie politician who inherited his father's constituency and was elected for the first time in Ehime, made a series of blunders in the Diet and lost popularity after reports of his affair with a female news announcer.
Meanwhile, Taishi's wife, actress Yui Kurosawa (Riisa Naka), made her big break in the TV drama "Miko-chan" set in Ehime, and her popularity has not waned even after her marriage to Taishi, with six advertising contracts and 1 million followers on social media, garnering nationwide support.
The two show a good relationship on the live SNS broadcast "YUI Channel", but in reality they are only playing the role of a happy couple for work and to keep up appearances. Taishi's family begs her to be the heir to their political family, and although she is trying to conceive, they hardly talk to each other, and rarely even make eye contact.
The love has already gone cold.
Meanwhile, Yui has a fateful encounter with a mysterious man, Kyoji Kano (Ryo Nishikido), and decides to ask Taishi for a divorce.
As for Taishi, just before the election campaign against his strong rival candidate, Soda Go (Yamamoto Koji), he is confused when he is reunited with his lover and is pressured into divorce.
Once the election is over, let's get a divorce.
For a couple who have maintained the image of a happy married couple, the hurdle is high, but with the help of their lawyers, Inuda Kaoru (Itaya Yuka) and Ishihara Henry K (Furuta Arata), Taishi and Yui begin to walk toward their goal of divorce.
