How many A!-POINTS do I get?

When you shop on A!SMART, you get 1% of the product price as points that you can use for your next purchase. Each point is equivalent to 1 JPY.

 

You will not be awarded points  for purchases that you pay for using points or coupons (if you use points or coupons as partial payment, you will not earn points for the portion you pay for with points or coupons).Any points you use will be used towards product prices.

 

Points are not awarded from shipping charges, gift wrapping costs, payment fees, or for the cost of products offered exclusively in exchange for points.

 

Awarded points are not applied to the cart total, but to individual product subtotals, ignoring any fractions of points. If you use points to pay for a purchase, the points will be distributed proportionally across individual product subtotals.

 

Example #1: Making a purchase without points

・Payment total: JPY 4,880

[Product A (JPY 3,000) + Product B (JPY 1,000) + shipping (JPY 880)]

 

・Total eligible for points: JPY 4,000

[Product A (JPY 3,000) + Product B (JPY 1,000)]

 

・Points awarded: 40

[Product A (JPY 3,000) x 1% = 30 ⇒ 30 points] + [Product B (JPY 1,000) x 1% = 10 ⇒ 10 points]

 

 

Example #2: Making a purchase using 500 points

・Payment total: JPY 4,380

[Product A (JPY 3,000) + Product B (JPY 1,000) + shipping (JPY 880) - JPY 500 in points]

 

・Total eligible for points: JPY 3,500

[Product A (JPY 3,000) - JPY 375 in points + Product B (JPY 1,000) - JPY 125 in points]

 

・Points awarded: 34

[Product A (JPY 2,625) x 1% = 26.25 points ⇒ 26 points] + [Product B (JPY 875) x 1% = 8.75 points ⇒ 8 points]

 

 

When A!POINTS are awarded

Points are awarded about two weeks after products have shipped.

 

Example: If you purchase JPY 5,000 worth of products on May 1 and get your products on May 3, 50 points (ignoring fractions of points) will be added to your account between May 3 and May 17. Those JPY 50 worth of points can be used towards subsequent purchases once they have been added.

 

●If there is a delay in receiving your products after they have shipped (because you are not home for the delivery, for example), it may take longer for points to be awarded.
●If you purchase digital content, points will be awarded after the content is released.

 

Important notes

●Points may be awarded at different rates during special campaigns or for different A!-ID services. Check the added points when you shop.

●Some venue sales may be eligible for A!-POINTS as well. See the A!-ID site for details.

●A!-POINTS may not be transferred or combined with points from any other A!-ID.

●A!-POINTS cannot be redeemed for cash.
